Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to help improve your experience of our website at https://soleeva.com. This Cookie Policy is part of Soleeva's Privacy Policy and covers the use of cookies and third-party tracking technologies between your device and our site.

When you first visit our website, a consent banner will appear, giving you the choice to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies — including analytics, advertising, and performance cookies — will not be loaded until you provide affirmative consent.

We also provide information about the third-party services we use, which may also use cookies as part of their service. This policy does not cover cookies set independently by those third parties on their own platforms. If you do not wish to accept cookies, you may decline non-essential cookies using our consent banner or configure your browser to refuse cookies from https://soleeva.com; however, some website features may not function as intended.

We will notify you of material changes to this Cookie Policy by updating the 'Last Updated' date above and, where required by law or where changes materially affect your rights, by displaying a notice on our website or sending an email to registered users. Your continued use of the website after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy for non-California residents. California residents should review the 'Your California Privacy Rights' section for rights that cannot be waived by continued use.

What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on your device when you visit. It typically contains information about the website itself, a unique identifier that allows the site to recognize your web browser when you return, additional data that serves the cookie’s purpose, and the lifespan of the cookie itself.

Cookies are used to enable certain features (e.g. logging in), track site usage (e.g. analytics), store your user settings (e.g. time zone, notification preferences), and to personalize your content (e.g. advertising, language).

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are usually referred to as first-party cookies. They typically only track your activity on that particular site.

Cookies set by other sites and companies (i.e. third parties) are called third-party cookies They can be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service.

Types of Cookies and How We Use Them

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are crucial to your experience of a website, enabling core features like user logins, account management, shopping carts, and payment processing.

We use a limited number of strictly necessary cookies required to operate the website (for example, to maintain your cookie-consent preference and serve video content). These cookies cannot be disabled without materially impairing core website functionality. They do not require your consent under applicable law.

Performance cookies

Performance cookies track how you use a website during your visit. Typically, this information is anonymous and aggregated, with information tracked across all site users. They help companies understand visitor usage patterns, identify and diagnose problems or errors their users may encounter, and make better strategic decisions in improving their audience’s overall website experience. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services. They may collect device identifiers and IP addresses in anonymized or pseudonymized form. Under the CCPA/CPRA, IP addresses and persistent device identifiers may constitute 'personal information.' For details on how we handle this data, please see our Privacy Policy.

We use performance cookies on our site.

‍

Functionality cookies

Functionality cookies are used to collect information about your device and any settings you may configure on the website you’re visiting (like language and time zone settings). With this information, websites can provide you with customized, enhanced, or optimized content and services. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services.

We use functionality cookies for selected features on our site.

Targeting/advertising cookies

Targeting/advertising cookies help determine what promotional content is most relevant and appropriate to you and your interests. Websites may use them to deliver targeted advertising or limit the number of times you see an advertisement. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services. Targeting/advertising cookies set by third-parties may be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service.

The advertising and analytics trackers used on soleeva.com (including Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and DoubleClick) transmit addressing and signaling information — including IP addresses and device/browser identifiers — to third-party servers. We disclose this use to you in accordance with our obligation to provide materially accurate and non-deceptive information about our data practices under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act. A full list of active trackers is provided in the Cookie Inventory section of this policy.

  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

California Shine the Light Disclosure

California Civil Code § 1798.83 (the "Shine the Light" law) permits California residents to request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for those third parties' direct-marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year, and the names and addresses of those third parties.

If you are a California resident and wish to make such a request, please contact us in writing at:

Soleeva Energy, Inc. — Attn: Privacy Request — 1918 Junction Ave, San Jose, CA 95131 — info@soleeva.com

Please include 'Shine the Light Request' in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit a 'Do Not Track' (DNT) signal. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our website does not currently alter its behavior in response to DNT signals.

However, we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information, as required by the CPRA. If your browser or browser extension transmits a GPC signal when you visit soleeva.com, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and will not load advertising or targeting cookies for your session.

Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) — Cookie & Consent Tracking

When you submit a request for a solar estimate or contact form on our website, we use cookies and session-tracking technology to record the time, date, and context of your affirmative written consent to be contacted by Soleeva Energy by phone, text, or automated dialing systems, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA, 47 U.S.C. § 227) and FCC regulations.

Effective January 27, 2025, FCC rules require that telephone marketing consent be obtained on a one-to-one basis — meaning your consent on our website authorizes contact by Soleeva Energy only, and not by any third-party solar partners or lead aggregators. Session cookies used to record consent are strictly necessary and load regardless of your other cookie preferences.

If you receive an unwanted call or text that you believe was made in reliance on consent obtained through our website, please contact info@soleeva.com immediately so we can investigate and correct our records.

Email Tracking & CAN-SPAM

Our marketing and transactional emails may contain tracking pixels — small transparent images that allow us to detect whether an email has been opened and whether links were clicked. This information is used solely to measure the performance of our email communications and to improve the relevance of future messages.

We do not use email tracking pixels to build behavioral profiles for sale to third parties. You may disable email tracking by configuring your email client to block remote images, or by unsubscribing from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in every commercial email we send, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

Commercial emails sent by Soleeva Energy will always include: (a) a clear identification that the message is an advertisement; (b) our physical mailing address (1918 Junction Ave, San Jose, CA 95131); (c) a functional opt-out mechanism; and (d) prompt honoring of opt-out requests within 10 business days.

‍

Children’s Data

Our website is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information of minors. If you believe a minor has interaction with our site in a manner that may trigger data collections, please contact us so we can delete the data collected.
